About

Hannah Tanner is a New York based performer. Working in commercial and theatrical spaces.

Hannah was born in Hurst, Texas but spent most of her adolescents in New Hampshire. She began dancing at the age of 9 after attending a friend’s recital and from there she knew little else. In high school Hannah began to branch out attending summer intensives such as Ballet West and Generation IV. Her junior year she joined the modern company Urbanity Dance Company in Boston and through them gained experience performing on stage and in immersive show settings. Afterwards she received her education through Pace University’s BFA Commercial Dance Program. Her well rounded education has allowed her to work in various capacities from stage to commercial events. Some of her credits include CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen’s New Year’s Special, Youtube’s 20th Anniversary Celebration, “The Testament of Anne Lee” filmed and live activation event, Netflix’s “Umbrella Academy” promotional shoot, and Jason William’s “The Jason William’s Experience Live”.

When not dancing Hannah is passionate about the health and wellness of her fellow dancers. She has founded The Artist Athlete Collective to help educate and train dancers for the stage. Her intention is to help dancers have long and healthy careers.
